Rochester,NY: RE Paranormal and New York Paranormal began filming a new paranormal series based in Rochester, NY late last fall called Mystic Encounters.
The series features local paranormal investigators uncovering local history about local sites with paranormal investigations of each. In this series, viewers are shown the data gathered, the impressions from the medium involved, and the reactions of the local owners - and then it's up for the viewers to decide wether it's haunted or not. Some local buildings of interest have been the Green Lantern Inn and the townhall in Fairport NY. Many more episodes are in production now and can be seen locally on FACT 12 and FACT 15 on the Fairport Cable system. Plans are in the works to expand to other regions as well.
